| History of Minister Roderick E. Stanley and The Beginning of R.E.S.B. Gospel Agency On Wednesday, January 15, 1986, Evangelist Ethel Mae Stanley-Butler of Brunswick, Georgia and Chief Warrant Officer Roderick Edwin Butler of Darien, Georgia, gave birth to Roderick Edwin Stanley-Butler II in Stuttgart, Germany, while stationed overseas on military assignment in Heilbronn, Germany. Following him was the birth of his sister Brittney Nicole Butler (Sept. 1988) and Rodney Lamar (Booman) Butler (Mar. 1991). Roderick was raised as a military child with his siblings, spending most of his childhood living overseas, travelling and meeting people of different cultures, while attending the DoDDs educational system, until the year of 2002. For over 40 years Evangelist E and her family known as The Gospel Superiors, of Brunswick, Georgia have encouraged many to believe in Christ, through song ministry. Evangelist E, has traveled all over the world as an accomplished musician, singing, and speaking God's word, while away from the family group off and on for about 18yrs. Roderick’s gift was given to him by God and he learned how to play the piano/keyboard in a peculiar way. He woke up one morning listening to music of The Brooklyn All-Stars and the Holy Spirit guided his fingers across the Keys, and he was playing. He would watch different videos with the Gospel Superiors singing, and other groups such as to name a few, The Mighty Jubilaires, The Sensational Tones, The West Singers, The Singing Angels, which are groups of his mother’s hometown Brunswick, Georgia, to keep his passion and commitment to God alive. As time went on Roderick got advanced so fast he got interested in learning how to play and write his own materials, that God allowed the angels to sing to him. He would take a video camera and record him at the keyboard, playing along with the videos of Brunswick Artists, or with be playing the keyboard and his brother Rodney playing the drums until, he got it down packed. God gave Roderick a vision at an early age of 13 years old of creating a unifying, organization to bring the people together and thus the RESB Gospel Agency was founded and established in the year 2000 under the leadership of the young talented Minister, musician and singer at the age of 14, also side with his mother. The RESB Gospel Agency is not a business, but a ministry built on a foundation of willingness, gratitude, and full dedication to the independent gospel artists in the country. The RESB Gospel Agency is a non-profit organization that specializes in print style work, gospel bookings, marketing, gospel promotions, radio promotions, recording studio and much more. The purpose of this ministry is to reach out to the young and the young at heart, that Jesus is the Lord of lords, and that God has a message in Gospel music. Over the years the RESB Gospel Agency/RGA Records has severed southeast Georgia with great honor. Roderick was able to work with many people in the gospel industry and word ministry, spreading God loves word through song. The year of 2002, Roderick and his family had relocated back to the United States to Brunswick, Georgia and upon their return God gave him a ministry name entitled: REJOICE HOUSE MISSION CHURCH OF LOVE MINISTRIES, which he is the Founder and overseer of this great ministry. While in Brunswick in 2004 Roderick graduated Brunswick High School and he became a minister in community, that same year. He had not been licensed by anyone for word ministry, but ordained and appointed through God's Holy Spirit to render a job by the most high. Rev. Dr. Nicole L. Weyant, on the behalf of the church and all its members, did hereby select, appoint, and anoint him a fully ordained independent minister of Trinity Evangelical Christian Ministries, and authorize him to perform all standard Christian religious services, including the rites of marriage and baptism. On the 30th Day of March, 2008 into Ministry which is recorded by: Rev. Dr. Nicole L. Weyant, President of Trinity Evangelical Christian Ministries. The Trinity Evangelical Christian Ministries had accepted Roderick Edwin Stanley-Butler, having demonstrated by actions and by statement of faith and love for Our Lord Jesus Christ and His Word, into the worldwide ministry of Trinity Evangelical Christian Church. The years of 2007/08 God had gave Minister Stanley a vision for the young people and which Minister Stanley had governed himself to the Holy Spirit and stepped out on faith and started the All- Star Student Mentoring Program for McIntosh and Glynn County School Systems. He also founded the Walking in Your Destiny Youth Conference/Revival which was started August 2004 and is currently growing. Minister Stanley was lead by the Spirit of Christ to follow his great-grandparents lead Elder David Jones & Missionary Alma Jones, whom he have never met, but have heard tell of how they were in ministry for many of years, and how they loved and cared for God’s children. So in the year of 2009 he joined as a member of the Johnson Temple First Born Church of The Living God, Inc., Brunswick, Georgia under the leadership of The Honorable Overseer Emeritus Sr. Bishop W.L. Johnson, D.D., and Pastor Emeritus First Lady Minister Malessia Johnson, M. Th., Co-Pastor Evangelist Candace Wilridge & Minister Marcus "Dre" Wilridge. God has more in stored in ministry for Minister Stanley. There are souls that need to be lead to Christ and Minister Stanley has the Love and Heart for such a mission. We keep him lifted up in prayer that God move Minister Stanley out of the way and place HIS holy spirit within the man of God to achieve, and accomplish what God has prepared for him. History of Merge from TruValue to The Holy Spirit Believers Minister Roderick E. Stanley formed the group, Roderick Stanley & The Gospel Spirituals in the early part of 2003, which the name was to close to his mother's group The Gospel Superiors, so he decided to changed the name of the group to Roderick Stanley & The Angelaires, but something was not right to Roderick about the name, so he prayed, prayed and prayed about it during the same year of 2003. In a dream, God showed Roderick that people were not being true to Him and that He wants the people to have all the benefits of His Glory and to have True Value in His rights. Roderick came back to His mother and told her about his dream and said stated that the group will be called TruValue. Once the group had been reorganized, the members were from Rochester, New York, currently known as the Gloreous Sons. There were times when the group was not able to make engagements do to the fact of the distance, so it was time to reorganize, again. The second change lasted a year and God's word was able to be spread and people able to confess that they believe in God. As, time went on in the mid part of the year 2007, Roderick was back to step one, but never lost sight in His vision that God had for him. He prayed and asked God to send sincere, people that would Love to minister, and give God the Glory. Roderick's request to God, was answered. By being obedient listening to God speaking to him, he was able to ask three members of a youth choir in Darien, Georgia, and two members of a youth choir in Cox, Georgia, if they would like to sing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They accepted and started to sing and travel, and learn ministry. Later, the youth took interest in many other school and church activities and so young men of a group called The Little Miracle Singers of Albany joined and sang for awhile, under Minister Stanley leadership. Later down the road, Minister Stanley’s, Mother, Grandmother, Brother, God-Brother, and Cousin joined the group, which now they have accomplished a lot during their time in ministry together. Roderick is currently the lead singer, alongside him; His mother, Evangelist Ethel Stanley known as Evangelist E is second lead. The song ministry of TruValue Song Ministries, which is the overall ministry is still active, and is under the leadership of Roderick Stanley. The name: The Holy Spirit Believers came to Roderick, while sitting at the dining room table, praying and working on some music for the group. Roderick was praying and asking the Lord, a few questions in the prayer about going to the next level, and the answer was the love of Christ must be in all of you, but if you don't believe in the Holy Spirit, then you will perish. 1 Peter 4:16 says: However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name. We must be believers of the Holy Spirit and obey the Lords humble word, which is set before us. The word was saying that no matter what people says or tries to do you and block you don’t back down on your calling, but give God all the praises for if you bear the marks you will get rewarded. For each level in ministry God has a name for you, so to be completely True Value in the eyesight of God you must be willing to be used and you must believe in the Holy Spirit. It was then time to step on that next level and let God work on the group which God then transformed the group to the next level of Roderick "Gospel Star" Stanley & TruValue of Southeast, Georgia to Minister Roderick Stanley & The Holy Spirit Believers of Southeast. Gospel Agency, Roderick Stanley & The Holy Spirit Believers & TruValue Song Ministries celebrated their first year anniversary celebration on Saturday, January 03, 2004, in Brunswick, Georgia at the Ritz Theatre with special guest group The Gospel Messengers of Crescent, Georgia, Ethel Stanley & The Gospel Superiors of Brunswick, Georgia and The Anointed Angels of Columbia, SC. The second anniversary was on Sunday, January 09, 2005, in Brunswick, Georgia at the Ritz Theatre special guest group was Damon Little and Nu-Beginning, of Baltimore, Maryland The Turner Brothers, of Apopka, Florida and The Sons of Joy of New Jersey. The third anniversary was on Sunday, January 15, 2006; in Brunswick, Georgia at the Ritz Theatre special guests groups were Rev. Andrew Cheairs & the Songbirds and The Gloreous Sons. The year 2007 the 4th Anniversary Celebration was held Sunday, January 21, but for the 4th pre-anniversary which was held November of 2006 at Todd Grant Elementary School with special guest the legendary Paul Beasley & The Gospel Keynotes, and celebrated their anniversary in January with special guest Ethel Stanley & The Gospel Superiors, and Horace Jones & The Mighty Jubilaires at Todd Grant Elementary School, in Darien, Georgia. The 5th Anniversary celebration had kicked off with a pre- anniversary celebration in Brunswick at Greater Bethel A.M.E, Saturday, January 19, 2008 featuring many of the local artist and special guest group from Rochester New York, The Gloreous Sons. Which had people ready and pumped up to come out on that Sunday, January 20, 2008 to hear them sing at Todd Grant Elementary School, in Darien, Georgia along with The Women of Strength of Columbia, South Carolina, NuTestament of Jacksonville, Florida, Horace Jones & The Mighty Jubilaires of Brunswick, Georgia and Ethel Stanley & The Gospel Superiors of Brunswick, Georgia. The following year, The Five Blind Boys of Mississippi were in the house. Yes, Sunday, January 18, 2009, the Legendary Five Blind Boys of Mississippi were at Todd Grant Elementary school for the 6th anniversary along with The Gloreous Sons of Rochester, New York Horace Jones & The Mighty Jubilaires of Brunswick, Georgia and Ethel Stanley & The Gospel Superiors of Brunswick, Georgia. To add to the history of this great song ministry, Sunday, January 31, 2010, the 7th year anniversary was held at the College of Coastal Georgia Auditorium, which was the first time a Gospel Concert had been held at the college. The special legendary guest artists featured The Sensational Nightingales, & Paul Beasley & The Gospel Keynotes. Also featured on program were Ethel Stanley & The Gospel Superiors, Bossman & The Sunsetts, The Mighty Flames of Joy, Tyrone & The Starlites, Horace Jones & The Mighty Jubilaires, and Samaria Simon accompanied by Krystal Leggett. |
